Tested by the Water Quality Association to ANSI and CSA standards

The Water Quality Association (WQA), is the trade organization for the water quality improvement industry. It is a non-profit, international organization that provides educational and technical assistance and standardized industry testing for water treatment products. WQA has developed industry standards, and it tests products for the following:

  • Product Performance
  • Equipment Capacity
  • Simulation Testing
  • Compliant with the CSA B483.1 Standard for Canada.
  • Select Kinetico products have been tested and certified by WQA to perform as claimed

Independent Laboratory Certification.

The K5 Drinking Water Station is Tested and Certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53, 58, 372 and CSA Standard B483.1-Drinking Water Treatment Systems. Removes 99% Perfluorooctanoic Acid (PFOA) and Perfluorooctane Sulfonate (PFOS)†. Conforms to NSF/ANSI 53 for VOC reduction. (Refer to the Performance Data Sheet for individual contaminants and reduction performance).

† The PFOA/PFOS claim is applicable to the K5 Drinking Water Station with WOW tank only.

The A200 Drinking Water System is tested and certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and 58 for the reduction of claims specified on the Performance Data Sheet. Also conforms to CSA Standard B483.1 – Drinking Water Treatment Systems (Refer to the Performance Data Sheet for individual contaminants and reduction performance)

Kinetico Signature Series Water Softeners are Tested and Certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI 44, NSF/ANSI 372, and CSA Standard B483.1 for specific performance claims as verified and substantiated by test data.

Kinetico Premier Series and Premier Series XP Water Softeners are Tested and Certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI 44, NSF/ANSI 372, and CSA Standard B483.1 for specific performance claims as verified and substantiated by test data

The CRS 1060 and CRS 1100 systems have been tested and certified by the Water Quality Association (WQA) according to NSF/ANSI 42 for the reduction of chloramine. It has also been certified to NSF/ANSI 61, Drinking Water System Components—Health Effects and NSF/ANSI 372, Drinking Water System—Lead Content and the CSA Standard B483.1 Drinking Water Treatment Systems.

Founded in 1967, this industry served by the Canadian Water Quality Association and its members encompass water quality improvement for homes, businesses, industry and institutions in these broad areas: drinking water and working water.

The Canadian Water Quality Association is dedicated to promoting the highest principles of honesty, integrity, fair dealing, and professionalism in the water quality improvement industry. It is equally dedicated to preserving the public’s right to quality water. All members must adhere to the industry Code of Ethics which sets forth standards of conduct for industry members in their dealings with their customers, among themselves, with members of related industries, and the public at large.
